    My son hired them to do home renovation to my home

    I, Hana Benjamin, spoke with Scott Hufnagel in February 2021 informing him of unsatisfactory renovation to my home in Fort Mill. My son hired him and before I got my house back, did not take a 3rd trip to SC from MD to see the final job Scott did. I took the third trip. I found my shower had new fixtures replaced leaving the shower circle valve and head not in working condition. The former shower pieces worked, they were just updated. The circular shower piece was disconnected from the shower wall and a leaking shower head is present. The second bathroom was left not caulked around that shower. The second faucet in master bath not secured .Touch up areas of paint not completed. My main request was correcting the bathrooms. I explained when I took over my house from my son who paid him $15,000.00. I had to reimburse my son the money. I kindly asked Scott to run past the house and complete the work. He had initially agreed. I gave him more than ample time. I flew to SC the third week of March. Scott never went to the house, never returned any calls or text. If this business is under BBB I will inform them. Scott integrity was not honored by himself. I had Benjamin Franklin Plumbing Company to come to this home on 5/5/21 to give me a price on repairing this undone plumbing job. Their estimate is $2,500.00 They stated this job was not properly done, leaving your circular shower fixture disconnected from shower tub. I do not recommend this company. I reached out to Scott several times. The last time he was not willing to make the repairs. This is holding me up from renting my home. This home has been vacant since he finished this job. I am disappointed someone from Allen Tate Mortgage Co. recommended Scott. I do not recommend this company Top Shelf Contracting, LLC. I am sticking to the pure facts, prayerfully I hope Scott will reach out to me with Business Integrity and fix this job. thank you
