  I had a contract with them to show up on a specific date about a month after I signed. I did not hear from them again until I called the day before to verify that they were still coming. The owner, Kevin, said yes and that he left me a message saying so, which I did not receive. The next day, his men showed up without knocking on my door or calling me to let me know that they were on my property. I live on multiple acres that are completely fenced in and they had to go through a closed gate to get in. I learned they were there when I heard someone in my backyard at around 6:50 AM. When I went out to say hello, I saw people coming from the very back on my property. No one spoke English, so when I asked where everyone was they could not understand. After not be able understand each other for a few minutes, they called the other owner Ubaldo. He told me that he would be there soon, and I went inside to wait.
  Once he got here I explained I was a little upset that they did not let me know they were here. I asked if he could let me know when they get to my property each day and he refused. According to him, they never tell anyone when they get there because they come to work. He then said he was leaving. I said I have waited a month for you and you are just going to leave because I want to know when someone is on my property? Ubaldo said yes because he called yesterday. It was a strange interaction. I explained I had two large dogs and I didn't want to let them out if someone was on my property, but he did not care and left.
  So I called Kevin and he told me that Ubaldo told him I yelled at him which was not true. I was upset about the situation, but never raised my voice. Kevin said that this is how they do business and that I must not be from around here. I told Kevin I would tell everyone I know not to do business with them and I would go online to tell everyone about this terrible interaction with his business. He then got mad and told me that If I wanted he could come to my house and settle this like men. From my understanding that Is a threat. For an owner to make threats against someone he had a contract with because I told him I would tell everyone how he does business is crazy. The conversation went on for a little bit with me trying to understand why he couldn't just tell me when he got to my property and him saying he can refuse to do business with me because his contract allows it.
  They were very nice until they weren't, very unprofessional. In my mind it is unethical to write a contract in bad faith. I waited a month and because I asked to be informed when someone was on my property they refused to honor their contract. As someone who works with contractors for my profession, this was very odd. I hope this helps everyone make a good decision on a roofing company.
