    I didn’t even want to give one star however as stated many times in reviews… DO NOT HIRE NOR TRUST Dale Lands. He knows how to work the system and will rob you blind. New roof added.. installed wrong but instead of fixing it he went after more money. Electrical problems from the beginning. Uses cheap materials but charges high dollar to line his pockets. He has no problems lying to you and has a bad temper. Be cautious of this man and his company. There are much better companies to use… save yourself the headache and botched job(s) that will never be fixed nor acknowledged by him.

    Fire Restoration
    $97,000

    I would do a thorough review of this contractor, to include, BBB, Attorney General's Office, Johnston and Wake County Courthouses, Angie's List and his own website. The initial bill was approximately $53,000 and over 6 months later the bill is still inaccurate at about 34,000. However, I believe I only owe 25,000 with a 15,000 refund of insurance proceeds. I cannot go forward with restoring my home until I have a formal termination letter and he refuses to give me the letter otherwise. He also claims he is not paying a subcontractor because I authorized the work not him. I urge you to do your homework before making any decisions regarding this company.

    Please please do not choose this company. They have taken advantage of my family and 2 of my neighbors at Emerald Isle. I am filing a report with the NC Attorney General. I’m sure there are more cases here too. They are charging for work that they aren’t doing. When they were suppose to be fixing my roof I made a surprise visit and found water running through my roof and into my house. They literally caused more damage than Florence and didn’t have any problem billing my ins company for the damage they caused. One of the workers said to me that they needed to stop working because they feared electrocution. This was the one and only time I even saw anyone working on my house. Patrick Land went around my neighborhood with a business card claiming he was project manager for Total Construction and forgot to tell us he was a Raleigh police officer.We found out that on Facebook. They tore out my walls , made a huge mess and never fixed ANYTHING . I fired them in April 1 after being told my doublewide would be done by Thanksgiving then Christmas then the end of March. As of the end of March they hadn’t hung one piece of Sheetrock !! I had already paid the $12,000 and then they send me a bill for 19,000 for what?? Nothing Sorry but the 2 great guys that came in and fixed my house got paid. Anyone in the Raleigh area has many choices of contractors. These people have been working on the bosses big house with pool according to the lady that works for them. So please find someone to work for you that actually work. You will regret dealing with these folks!!!!
