Steve Kang is horrible contractor. He took over contract for my house from his brother Peter Kang on Feb 2017 for 500 sq ft addition (Peter's license got suspended). I am writing this on 10/25/17 and project is still not finished. He is bad communicator and project manager. He has no control over his workers as that's the excuse he tells me every time why there's no one working at the house. He is incredibly unprofessional. The brothers fought in loud voice at my property in several occasions. He took 96% of the contracted payment back in April 2017 and since May to Oct I have seen minimum work being done at the house (couple days worked per week, 4 hrs per week). I have uneven concrete foundation/ floor in my new master and family room, below average jobs done around the house (paint, cement splatters, horrible trim work, botched drywall, not working electrical, wooden fence with gaps due to using warped boards, etc.) There is NOTHING done right. My husband has to trouble shoot the tankless water heater to get it working properly. We had a GAS LEAK when worker messed up on copper piping. We had to live with piles of garbage dirt, concrete, demo materials for 6 months+. DO NOT WORK WITH Steve Kang if you are house owner or subcontrator. He will tell you lies about schedule and just take your money.
