Summer of 2016 we had a contract for a patio cover. The job was never completed and Chris Sheppard stopped returning our calls to complete the work. We aren't difficult people to deal with but this job didn't seem to be of importance to Chris Sheppard. Chris knew they did a poor job including the selection of wood that is exposed. It looks like it came from the scrap pile at Home Depot. I wish I could show the pictures. Subcontractors were also used and their work was amateurish at best. We asked Chris that if this was his home, would he accept the work? This is the worst experience I've had with a contractor.

I hired Shepard to repair hail damage in 2010. In May of 2017 they contacted me after another large hail storm and I hired them again...this proved to be a big MISTAKE.
It is not that their work is not acceptable..... ..it is getting them to do it. I cannot remember one time that they showed up when they said they would. They showed up after I called and complained. Never did they call to say they would be late or to let me know what was going on.
I am still waiting for them to complete the job..and I paid them in full in January. It is a small amount of work but I doubt I will see them again.
I certainly would not hire them again!
