    new hot water heater

    Very Similar to the review about but this was through out home warranty. I set an appointment for "some time Tuesday" as they told me.. so I stayed home all day. I called in the AM to ask time and left a voicemail, no call back. At 3:30 I have heard nothing so I call again... voicemail again! Then I call my home warranty, they call and get an answer, Toth claimed there were on the way and left 20 min ago and I should see them soon! Fantastic. Except no one showed. So I call again at 4:45, have to leave a message (does anyone answer ever?). They finally call the next morning at 9AM with a story of how it was confusing they had 2 clients with the same last name. So I let them come tell me our hot water heater is broken. I then ask what brand they will replace with. They offer for me to call the supplier because they don't know what it is or what options I have. When I called and told them I didn't want the bottom of the line and wanted to upgrade they denied me and said "well that is all we get, so you don't have a choice". Our home warranty said that was not true. So I had emailed and called the owner for some quotes. I never got a response. Even our home warranty company was so frustrated they said they will pay for us to switch to a new provider. Better luck we hope on the next one!

    Derrick Toth Plumbing or Toth Enterprises. Let me tell you about them. The first time we had any interaction with Toth Plumbing was through a home warranty company. My wife dealt with the plumber and she was very comfortable with him. Because of that, I decided that we had found our plumber and I would use them from that point on, regardless of whether the issue was covered by the warranty or not.
    I cancel the home warranty, but keep the plumber. We needed their service due to a defect in the construction of our home. It may not have been what they considered a big job, but it would require a hole to be cut into a closet in another part of the house and it was in a guest bath that we could do without. I call toth enterprises and made an appointment THREE weeks in advance. My wife had already scheduled a day off, so it was a perfect time to make this appointment.
    We get to the day of the appointment and they call me in the late morning and tell me that they have “emergency calls” that they need to go on and they cannot get to us. The guy tells me that they want to reschedule me “for my convenience”. I told him my convenience was their company honoring an appointment that had been made almost a month in advance. He told me about “emergency problems and sick employees” that had came up over the past weekend. I agreed to have the appointment rescheduled for the late afternoon of the next day because my wife would still be home. I called her and she told me that she could not be there for that appointment, so I called toth enterprises back within 5 minutes (I can show you my phone) and had to leave them a message that my wife was not available and I would take time off to be home on the following day for the appointment. I did not receive a call back, so I called again that evening and told the message the same thing. The next morning (day after they had not shown up on an appointment scheduled 3 weeks before), they told me that they had received my message and that they would be at my house in the afternoon of the day that I was going to take off to be home for this simple fix.
    We get to today. NO sign of toth plumbing or enterprises or whatever they wish to call themselves. I waited until 3:35 before I called them because I did not want to be a pain. At 4:15, I called again. No one answered either phone call. Or returned either message.
    Basically, the bottom line is this. DO NOT schedule an appointment ahead of time with these people. You WILL be pushed back for their definition of an “emergency” or because someone called in sick. DO NOT expect them to be there when they have rescheduled you. They, apparently, are much more important than you. It doesn’t matter what it is that you do for a living, they cannot be bothered to call you or return your call when you would like to know what is going on with your appointment. They fix toilets. They don’t have time for customer service.
