Kyle, We understand that you have had some issues with your home and during the initial 12 month warranty period we made our contractors available to fix any items that were brought to our attention. You were often not available or no-showed for these appointments therefore making it impossible to fix anything in a timely manner. At closing you were provided with a third party extended home warranty through StrucSure Home Warranty, we do this with all of our buyers to make them feel confident in their purchase. The home warranty company determined that your issues with the property were due to excessive wear and tear and not due to the builder. This was also noted by many of our contractors during the initial 12 month period when they often shared with us that there was significant abuse to many of the fixtures in your home. As for the gas line, it was installed properly and approved by city inspectors prior to the homes' completion, otherwise the home would not have been sellable. Both StrucSure Home Warranty and our attorney determined that the repair of the gas line should have been routed to your home owner's insurance, due to the tornado that impacted not only your line, but also many other gas lines throughout the neighborhood. It just so happens that most other home owners were able to get these things fixed because they had an insurance policy without an outrageous deductible.
