    This is the 4th home that we have built ,,,,3 in Michigan and this one in Cape Coral. This was a long distance build ...we are still snow birds...and yet this was the easiest build we have done . The builder and staff at TQB kept us informed of all aspects at the site with e-mails ..pictures..and phone calls and even when Irma went through they reassured us that all was fine. The whole staff was easy to work with and all issues have been addressed so far.
    We expected problems or mistakes with this undertaking but they were few and far between.. We would definitely build with TQB again.

    Before hiring them, we did a background check on their homes to see how their homes held up over the years they had little to no issues after 12 years. We also heard that the father the was the builder at that time and he took pride in each and every home. The son, Jason Tracey took over the business but we decided to go with them on his father's reputation of a builder. Well we had nothing but problems from the beginning when things were going good as he was a half a phone ring away if they weren't he was nowhere to be found we felt with the office staff that had no clue what was going on. They rushed our house because they had no clue we were in an eagle zone built our home backwards . Outside first then inside,they had there subs on top of each other . I had to show them how to install things the right way from cabinets to tile . We had tile falling down in our master bathroom that could of hurt someone or even killed someone because they came from the ceiling. We didn't get even an apology from Jason Tracey or the tile installer! We've dealt with almost all the contractors and supplies ourselves to get things done. They took full payment from and never finished the rest of the work thousands of dollars worth not including what we fixed ourselves. We still have leaking gutters,bad sod,paint and tile work to name a few that they Left us with. Don't let the QUALITY in the name fool you you will get after you fix all there screw ups. Jason Tracey doesn't have the same pride in detail that his father had. If you look up there permits they pulled over the past 6years for building you'll see he is building less than half than 6years ago that tells you something .     This whole situation was very unfortunate. We were absolutely aware of the eagle zone. When there is an eagle zone there are a lot of restrictions on when you can and can not work on the exterior of the property. That is why the order of the build had to be unique to other builds. Everything actually went very well throughout the build and there were absolutely no problems until the end. When we asked for final payment the owner gave us a list of things he wanted us to fix first. Even though some of the things were very picky we went back and fixed them. Part of this was that the porcelain tiles come in 6 different dye patterns and he did not like that some of the same tiles were touching each other. We went back and actually dug out a few tiles and replaced them with different ones to make him happy. It began to seem like he just did not want to pay the final bill because when we would ask for it he would come up with something else. The house was finally to his satisfaction and he even signed a document stating they were satisfied. Again, when we attempted to collect final payment they did not want to pay us. They even asked us if they could do some sort of a payment plan and we declined. We took them to court for final payment and it took the judge a very short time to make a judgement in our favor. Their negative review is completely because they did not want to pay their final bill , lost in court and had to pay it.
