  Apparently, Steve Barnard works under your state contractors license #833457. He is responsible for the disastrous paint job in our home. We had the interior of most of our house painted and the job was highly unsatisfactory. Some of the problems we encountered were as follows:

  *two rooms had paint that bubbled and then the bubbles popped and left pin head holes
  *one wall in the bathroom was not primed and the paint is peeling off
  *woodwork has areas that were not primed and the paint is peeling off
  *areas that were stated in the contract were not completed at all
  *overspray is/was on the carpet, wood floor, clothing, ceiling fan and fixtures, furniture, couch, stairs
  *painters used our bathroom sink and new kitchen sink to wash their brushes and left paint in and around both areas, ruining the new rubber protector on the disposal side
  *many areas have old paint showing through or were not painted at all
  *ceiling paint is on the walls and vice versa
  *masking tape was left in many areas and was not removed
  *many paint drips and rough areas on word work
  *ladder marks on the wall in the dining room
  *front door needs another coat of paint
  Steve Barnard sent in the same crew once to fix the problems, which they did not do. The second time he said he personally was going to fix everything and instead he brought the same crew back for a second time and left them unsupervised, yet again, only to have them not fix the problems. We even though we had a walk through, blue tape on all problem areas and a list that highlighted the taped areas so that their would be not misunderstandings. Steve Barnard initially said that his crew painted one room at a time and put that room back together before starting another and that he and his crew do not disrupt the household. This is not at all the way things happened. The house was in such disarray that my husband and I had to leave with the dog for one and ½ days. My husband and I had to work 13 hours to clean, scrap paint and masking tape and put the house back together. Steve Barnard did not honor the contract or his word. For example, he said he does not use painters that do not speak English, but he does. His crew shared with me that they had been working 7 days a week for months. From the caliber of their work, this crew is exhausted. I attempted to forward all this information to Steve Barnard however, when we used the email address listed on our contract I received a message back stating that it was undeliverable.
