Eric renovated the whole house - gutted most of it, subcontracted, electricians, HVAC, plumbing, everything. It was pretty bad.
He does something terribly wrong and he keeps quiet to see if you will notice. He tried to get away with drilled kitchen cabinets, the vanity was scratched all over and he had painted it with a SHARPIE so we do not see it.
The tiles on the floor of the bathroom are all scratched and not leveled. The new French door is also scratched all over. The stairs are drilled, patched, wood filler and paint drops on multiple places. He ruined the newly finished hardwood floor on the second floor while installing the washing machine and he spilled a bucket of water over it. One side board on in the middle of our $100K kitchen is totally ruined - it is curved, drilled, smashed, painted, chipped.
Our family had to spend months in a construction site because he did not finish on time. He blames it on COVID but the truth is, in my opinion, that he has no organizational skills, he is pretty much one-man show, and he was taking other projects while no one was working on our house. So much frustration and nerves wasted on this guy.
There are a few more smaller issues but other than the above, we are very happy with our new 150-year old house.
