We were suggested this contractor for our patio enclosure through porch.com. We met with Dale Faltysek on Dec. 20, 2018, signed a contract and gave him a check for $1800 for the windows and door that would be required. He said it would take a couple of weeks to get them, then he would start. Many calls later, he would not answer and wouldn't reply most the time to texts. He promised to start on Jan. 30, Feb. 4, 5, 7th and 11th. After that he would not respond or would have an excuse (employee didn't show up, he was sick, etc.) On 3/1, Dale responded through porch.com that a refund would be issued once the windows were returned. (windows were not custom) He said we changed our minds (about what?) Then he said at the end that we hadn't paid the $1800 at all. We have a copy of the cashed check with his fingerprint and all his comments and responses. I don't know if his company was going through a bad time or what but beware - he never returned any money so he profited by $1800 and we were out that amount. I filed a report on porch. We found a reputable contractor soon after but this guy gives the business a bad name.
