Anthony
Owner
My Parents are 91 years old and hired Anthony Trapallo as a subcontractor through First Tech Corporation in July of 2016 to supply new concrete sidewalks and front porch on their house. Anthony did the work and 3 months later the concrete started to crack and flake all over the top. A real unsightly mess. When I called Anthony he said that the problem was that rock salt was the cause. However Rock salt was never used, when pressed on the subject he agreed to have the cement supplier come in and evaluate the situation. The concrete supplier told Anthony and my mother that Anthony's workmanship was to blame as he poured the mix in too wet conditions and the water saturated the mix ruining it. Anthony did not say a word. He called me to tell me he was at fault but he was not going to rip out and replace the faulty mess, as it would be too expensive, only offering to put a cap over the mess. After checking with industry experts, we were told that a cap is a temporary fix and will not last long. Anthony refuses to make good on his work. Even after he was told by his supplier that it was his fault. Adding a cap over a poor base is like building a house on sand, a poor foundation will not allow the product to last. This is not what my parents paid for, and we believe Anthony should step up and do the right thing and not make two 90 year old people take him to court which is going to happen now. Don't trust this man as he will not stand behind his work. I wonder what Anthony would do if this happened to his parents?? Anthony you need to do the right thing.
