We contracted with Travis Painting in the Spring of 2021. We were put on a waiting list and told they would paint our interior before December of 2021. We got a call the Wednesday before Thanksgiving they would start painting our interior the Monday following Thanksgiving. They told us to take everything off the walls and push all the furniture toward the middle of the rooms. We are 74 years old, so my husband and I worked all Friday and Saturday doing as instructed. We received a call late Saturday afternoon cancelling the job because they heard we had COVID over a month ago and they did not want to take the risk. We informed them we were negative for COVID and no one was at a risk being around us. They refused to honor our contract. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Travis Painting Company! I suspect they got a higher paying job and decided to cancel us at the lady minute.
