I signed contract with Patrick Troy to remodel my son’s condo and gave him money for job. He demolished condo and then never came back. He gave me fraudulent receipts for cabinets, sinks, bathtubs he never ordered. He left condo uninhabitable and I could not find him.

    Master Bath and Bedroom
    First Class Contractor

I have only superlatives to describe work done by TRC Construction and Patrick Troy after I experienced water damage in a high-rise Chicago condo. He worked with me through the initial insurance claim, met with the adjuster to advocate for safe quality materials, and has been on site every day for the weeks of work. When I held up work demanding a plumber return and get me better water pressure, Patrick Troy was agreeable and gracious, and we worked out a more than fair agreement on new expenses when that plumber discovered new problems that clearly fell outside the scope of the work under contract. Finally, the TRC crew is amazing--decent, respectful and engaging men who are proud of their work and open to any questions (also kind to dogs). They and Patrick have given me a wealth of advice and support. They've also navigated with care the byzantine rules around construction in high-rise condos. Both the staff and the management are pleased with them. I would recommend TRC/Patrick Troy without reservation, and many of my neighbors have already begun work with him. Probably the most reliable indicator of their worth is that I just contracted with them to handle renovation in another part of the condo. They're a piece of good luck!

TRC ENTERPRISES / Patrick Troy is a terrible contractor

Patrick Troy wrote a proposal to remodel my home for $5500 which I paid on August 12, 2013. After working with his suppliers for two days I determined that this was going
to be an awful mistake and I both called and wrote to cancel three days later. After hiring TWO lawyers, paying many filing and other fees & suffering lost wages, my second
lawyer was able to claw back $4500 seven months later. Even though he did no work and delivered NO materials, I did not get a full refund and lost $3,109.92 in fees and
    lost income.
