    We recently had two large holes appear in our yard in mid-August. When I say large I mean 16' x 6' x 4' and 5' x 5' x 3-4' starting at the seawall return. It took several weeks before TCBI came out to look at our situation as I pleaded with them we needed to find out why the holes appeared. We had the County Engineer come out to be sure it was not the storm drain, which is was not and he indicated that our storm drain should be coming out of the new seawall that TCBI built in 2015 and apparently never extended the storm pipe. The first time they came out they said they only did the dock until I showed them the permit application for the seawall work with clearly indicated TCBI installed the seawall. I have stayed home several days waiting and waiting with no response or an excuse of why they cannot come out. I sent pictures of the yard washout in the canal coming from the seawall and indicated the holes were growing and was told they would be right out with the boss. No show but we will be there on
    Friday for sure. Today, Friday, this is the text I received from Albert "I talked with Sal the boss he said we are really busy right now that we have no time to fix you situation if you would like to call someone else" Apparently they do not stand behind their work or care enough to come and tell you face to face they are not going to deal with you. I would not recommend them and if I could give them -5 stars I would. We are not the only ones in Lighthouse Point who have had issues with them not standing behind or correcting their work. BEWARE DO NOT USE THEM!!

    Sea Wall

    Don’t stress yourself with this company. Took us 1 year and 1 month for them to complete a sea wall for us. Our salesman Project manager was never available for updates. He never let us know when they were or weren’t coming to work. They did some work then left to do more jobs while we were unfinished. I mean only Half of the job was done. We had to listen to his version that it was hard to get building permits and environmental permits. We did some checking to find the real dates he put in for the permits. These were done last November 2020. Still our project didn’t start till May. He had more than $20,000 of our money, and I will tell you I was quite nervous. He is a nice guy but I think sometimes his promises are a figment of his imagination. I have tried to go above his head with our complaints to the owner but he must be non existent. Our job is to be finished tomorrow as they destroyed a part of our driveway, The team are to repair it and also fix the walkway to the dock. They already put in steps that are 9” high. I have RA my husband has Two new hips, and we have a disabled daughter. These steps are too high for safety. All our guy said is that they were code. I looked up code and it is 7 inches. Our friendly salesman is not one to help out. Now….. the crew, a group of 4 guys are helpful and they do great work. Our sea wall is beautiful. If I could give them stars they would get 4 stars. Had to take a star because they are messy and leave tools everywhere. So this is my honest review. More than a year is too much for a signed and binding contract. The one star is for the beautiful seawall.
