I had a great experiencing working with Treehouse Homes. We bought our home brand new through them as a custom, everything went smoothly. Jim was very willing to come fix or help with anything. He gave me his personal number if we had any questions and would meet whenever we wanted. He made it an easy experience.

Jim Perry, owner of Treehouse Homes, does not correct defects in workmanship or materials in newly built homes, whether interior or exterior. He will avoid corrective measures at all costs. Leaking tile causing mold and water leakage in to basement - not corrected. Improperly installed sod with gaps several feet wide, bald spots, sod netting above ground causing tripping hazards - not corrected. Water coming in to the basement through leaking foundation - not corrected. A lawyer has been contacted and they will be taken to trial to correct these measures for habitability and safety.

We actually worked with Cheryl Perry, the former wife of Jim Perry. They are now divorces, and she has taken over the Treehouse name. I cannot stress enough that you need to run from her as far and fast as possible! She cannot properly schedule her subs, things don't get finished correctly, and we had to text/call over and over to get things done correctly. Each time we wanted something corrected she became very defensive -- and even blamed us for her subs mistakes. An example was the door to the master bathroom toilet closet would not open, because it hit the toilet -- no way to get in and use the bathroom. She became angry with us, because we pointed this out. We had to visit our home site every, single day in order to make sure things were done correctly. We had windows that footings were placed under a deck (not a walk-out or daylight basement), that had to be moved --thankfully, we caught this before the concrete was poured. The subs set up the forms for the driveway so that it veered around the Portable Potty, rather than moving the portable bathroom. Caught that before they poured the concrete -- builder tried to say they were giving us curb-appeal. Doors framed incorrectly, and had to be moved, and rebuilt (some after dry-wall was in -- even though we let her know about it at framing. It goes on, and on... The builder did not visit the site on a regular basis. The sad thing is, if she had worked with us using humor and grace, we would have been very forgiving of mistakes, and the delay the numerous corrections took. However, Cheryl would call my husband and scream at him. She even implied that we stole our own garage remotes -- because they were not there. On the day we closed, a remote appeared, but "someone" had filled the area where the clip is located, with a huge glob of Vaseline -- real mature, and professional! NOT worth the hassle! If you like her plan, I would DEFINITELY find another person to build it!!!
