We contracted on April 30 for a garage for 4 vehicles and a back room for storage. There was a lot of rain thereafter, so things could not get started right away . After our old garage was torn down, they would come a day here and there. When they were here, they worked, but it was taking very long. We also found out to our dismay that the bid did not cover actually getting into the garage or openers for the doors. We had to pay extra for an embankment and ramp. When we returned home after a 2-week vacation at the end of August, the garage was still not complete. We have now hired another company to finish the building. The workers worked hard when they came and knew what they were doing, but beware of hidden costs and don’t expect your project to be done in a timely manner.
