Hired this company and gave a deposit in late January or early February timeframe. Had problems as soon as they had the money and we secured financing for the rest of the project. The process of having the yard marked they never followed up on. I had to constantly reach out and chase them down about any updates or reason for delay. Every time a different excuse or just another month or no communication. They were supposed to finally start the project last Wednesday morning (9 months later). By 10:15-10:30am not a word. Calls unanswered. Text finally answered and told them to just start my refund. I couldn’t wait anymore. Writing this review hoping to a get a response about my refund now 10 days later. Very unprofessional communication and delays full of excuses.
1) Office phone number was disconnected at one point through the months
2) The cell number contacted with during quotes stopped responding once
3) Called 811 myself and told request don’t take months. Had to ask for proof of dig request from company. They had down them months apart with no follow up until I starting asking and reminding them about my project.
4) Addresses listed for the business are run down apartment or an older home
5) Feel like I got scammed. A business has so much Facebook advertisements, but doesn’t show up for months to do the project they already have a 50% deposit on.
I just want to know when, where, how for my despot to be returned?
I do not recommend this company at all.

I do not and will not recommend Trinity River Fence and Construction. I am going to give a constructive review as to why I do not recommend them. When I first contacted this company everything seemed great. They came out and talked to my husband and I about the project. Then it took them about a week to send us the bid, the bid included the concrete work and the structure in the total cost. They said they could get started quickly and that we would have our structure completely done by Halloween. I asked for a blueprint to send in to my HOA, it took them over a week to return a Google image with a hand drawn square on it not a blueprint back to us. They told us they were waiting on the concrete guys to give them a date for starting the project. I heard nothing from them for two weeks, after reaching out again they finally gave us a concrete date. Exactly one MONTH after we paid the 50% prepayment. Once they finished I received a FB message from Trinity River Fence and Construction asking to give the concrete guys a check. I was very confused as we already paid 50% and the concrete was included in the bid they sent. After a few back and forth messages they admitted they were wrong and asked that we still pay the concrete guys that day and they would deduct the cost out of the remaining balance. They wanted me to pay cash and this is when I started feeling uneasy about this company. I told them I would not pay cash but would write a check, also that I wanted a new contract sent over to me stating this change. Once I received it I paid the concrete company. After this it took me messaging many times to get a response on when the construction would start for the structure. They kept putting it off and said they wanted to meet with us again to go over what we wanted, even though we had already made agreements. We met them and what we originally agreed upon they couldn’t apparently do. So we had to change the plans from what we wanted. Then it took another MONTH before they scheduled us to start the construction. They didn’t finish the structure on day one which is normal and said the crew would be out the next day to put shingles on the exposed plywood. They never came; it took a few more days for them to finally come and in that time it rained and stormed. They put nothing between the shingles and the wood nothing to seal it no felt underlayment’s. It then took them another whole week to get the electrician out, which again looked nothing like we wanted and we have a weird visible wiring going to the light.
The structure was NOTHING like we wanted. NOTHING like we agreed upon the first OR the second time the plans changed. We did not like what they did and instead of owning up they blamed the workers saying they “didn’t understand”, which to me is crap because they are the owners of the company and they are paying these people to do a job, they should have made SURE the workers knew what the job was. We went back and forth for ANOTHER month trying to get this mistake fixed and it was always “we will be out tomorrow” then tomorrow would come and no one would come and when they wouldn’t show they would say “What they didn’t come yesterday?”. This happened over and over again. Mid November they say they are finally finished. DEFENITLY not, they promised that would take care of it because it was under warranty, but when they come out they just half ass it and nothing is fixed. Ours looks AWLFUL; it LEAKS everywhere EVERYTIME it rains. I have been MORE than lenient with this situation and have sent countless texts, and FB messages BEGGING them to just come and make it right. The structure is now FALLING apart, STILL leaking and has white caulk visible where they “fixed” the leaks. I have been dealing with this for a YEAR, a WHOLE YEAR now and I am just done. This is by far the worst company we have had to deal with. No communication, horrible craftsman ship, bad work quality, I could literally go on and on. I am so upset with this whole process and cannot believe we were suckered into thinking they would ever make it right.
