I would not post this, and told them I would not, except I literally have people in my community coming to me because these people are trying to bash us as "the bad guy", stating we were crazy and trying to get stuff for free (I challenge them to provide that info). Anyone that questions this, I have plenty of emails and text messages to validate!! But here goes...
Unprofessional. Every deadline that was given came and went with excuse after excuse. That's if your messages were even answered before days had passed with multiple attempts to message or call. After more than 3 months out from signing our contract, the pool kit still had not even come in (it was supposedly ordered at the time we paid our deposit in April). Kept saying they would call to check on it or "two more weeks". Others in our neighborhood contracted with other companies after us and were finished and swimming and we still had not even broken ground. We could have gotten a cheaper deal for a better set up and we still stuck with it, hoping to have our contract honored. I never asked for anything different. I never asked for money off... never asked for free stuff at all... never asked for anything other than honoring the things told to us and of course, our money back at the end. The owner consistently made excuses and bashed any other companies in the upstate. Never owned up to anything that was wrong, but instead blamed someone or something else. Maybe they do produce a good quality product in the end, but be prepared to endure a lot of excuses, time changes, and degrading talk of other companies (maybe even yourself) in the meantime as you wait!

We entered into an agreement with Tropical Paradise Pools in January 2022 for the installation of an inground pool that was to begin June/July 2022. We provided a cashiers check in the amount of $26,642 in February 2022. As of August 24, 2022 we have had very little communication and we have no pool. The owner appeared in person at my home mid August to inform me that he’s ran his business into the ground, has been taken over by the Holy Spirit, is broke, promised us our FULL deposit to be refunded once he sells his house which is currently pending for $625k. We are taking legal action to recover our deposit.DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR. RUN.
