We hired Tru Builders for frame and window replacement. Simon was professional and attentive to our needs. He made sure everything was done in a timely manner and was done beautifully. I highly recommend.

Workmanship was good, but you cannot rate a job solely on that, customer service has be included as well. Their cs flat out “SUCKED! You have to call them back several times before they’ll respond. I had measurements taken back in March, and still awaiting a follow-up call on the job, and that’s after several calls to them. I recently went to Lowe’s to have another job done, and again waiting on the same contractor from (Tru Builders), more than 6 days to hear from the CSR to schedule for measurements. Again nothing. Whether the job is large or small, to the customer it’s still important! It’s unfortunate some people in business fail to realize that fact!

While the price points may seem alluring, that's the trick to get you to sign. The quality of work is well below industry standard. Schedules are never met, excuses constantly provided. Laborers blame the contractor. The contractor blames the laborers. Overall communication is abysmal. Had to personally fix items after the job was over due to poor quality workmanship. Do not use this company, you will regret it.

Had a deck built by True builders, the end product came out very nice, we are very pleased by it.
If there was an option for 4.5 stars I would go with that. We had some minor issues that mainly came about because we went through Lowes (National chain hardware). Lesson learned...Contract directly with the person (company) doing the work. The Issues we had I have no doubt would not have even come up if we contracted directly with True Builders. I would put the responsibility on myself mostly, and on Lowes for not arranging a meeting with True Builders prior to starting. So.. Yes they did a very good job on our deck, and Yes I would recommend them to a friend
Simon worked Very hard to insure that when the project was completed that we were happy with the work, which we were, very much so. Simon is hard working and takes pride in his work. We are thinking about another job that needs to be done and have asked True Builders for a bid, that says something

Sadly Simon was a friend of mine however due to his haphazard work ability and his lack of customer concern that is no longer the case, because apparently a friend should wait a year and a half to get their bathroom done after he was paid. Apparently golfing and drinking was more important then taken care of a “friend “. I wouldn’t recommend him to anybody and I’m in the process of having to sue him now because he didn’t finish the job properly or in completion as he was supposed to do. I’m also reporting him to the Better Business Bureau and I will be making reviews on every website I can find. He finished a bathroom a year and a half after he was paid but didn’t even finish the entire job the way we had discussed. He used his sister as an excuse the entire time that I called and asked if the bathroom was done and then somehow thought telling me I was just being too “emotional” was appropriate,he failed to see the fact that he was essentially stealing from me and I am supposed to be a friend so figure that one out. I definitely would go with a different company and make sure to NOT use Simon Lopez. In fact I have all the documentation thankfully but I had called him in April which was a year and two months after I had paid him and he told me he would have it done by the end of the next month it took another four months to get him to do anything. I couldn’t even given him to give me a receipt so that I could do my taxes in a timely manner. HORRIBLE
