I would say not a high level carpenter. We had an exterior door installed and I will say it was an "okay" job. There are some aspects of the job that make you scratch your head but it is working although you can still see outside light in one corner of the door, which means air and bugs will be coming in. It is a very old house and it is better than what we had. So if you are looking for " This Old House" quality, keep looking. I also overpaid by about 5 or 6 hundred dollars. I chalk this up to my fault because I always go through reviews and this time I did not.
