    air conditioner

My home warranty co. put me in contact with True Comfort HVAC for our air conditioner repair. Unfortunately our air conditioner went out on the hottest day of the year and their first available appointment was 4 days out. I called the office to see if I could get a sooner appointment and was told they would call if anything sooner was available, not long after Sandy called and was trying to get me a sooner appointment. I feel Sandy went above and beyond and was able to get me a same day appointment, it was 97 in my home when the technician arrived and he was able to fix the problem very quickly. I think Sandy and the technician are amazing.

    AC repair
    $90

I definitely would not recommend True Comfort HVAC to anybody. I’ve just read a litany of negative reviews and I can relate to each and every one of them. May 6, technician Zaur Huse came to the house and said the thermostat needed to be replaced. As soon as it arrived, I was to call him, which I did. Never heard back from him, and I’ve been calling True Comfort HVAC every day since. I’ve spoken to the manager, people who they say are in charge, and nobody has been helpful. We have been suffering through the first month of extreme heat without an AC thanks to this irresponsible and unprofessional company. It’s over a month now and I still am not able to speak to anybody in charge at this company so if you want to avoid scams, avoid True Comfort HVAC at all costs… they absolutely suck.!!

Fix 1 HVAC unit of 2 we have

If I could get negative 10 stars that would not begin to describe the experience with this Company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, A TOTAL SCAM.

A simple HVAC repair has gone on for weeks. Visit#1: Assessment. Visit#2, credit card needed to secure appointment and order parts. Tech arrives, checks on a second unit which is not part of this work order. Advises the door wasn't securely closed which is why thermostat stopped working. In the process, using his defective work ladder, Tech fell, thankfully he was ok, but the attic opening was damaged as well as walls beneath. Tech did not have the part for the unit he was dispatched to fix and collected $190 via Zelle.

Prior to the 3rd visit, I called Matt. He clarified and confirmed that everything was a go and would be fixed and finalized on the upcoming visit. The Tech calls me moments before the appointment, asking ME why he is coming out. I reiterate all that was discussed with Matt. Tech shows up, tells me he got in trouble for damaging the walls and attic opening, he has to pay out of his pocket, checks the unit that is working fine AGAIN. Oh, you never spoke with anyone at Office about today's visit. Oh, really? How did they get you in trouble about the damage from when you fell? That was all in the same conversation. After an hour back and forth on the phone with Matt, it is the TECH who states the reason he can't fix the unit in the work order is he has no parts. Matt confirmed that low voltage wiring would be complete and dispatches a Tech with no wire.
I called the Office on Friday eve as Matt never called back and left a voicemail. No response, so I called on Saturday morning. I got Sandy who sounded like I woke her up and she couldn't be bothered less; exhaling repeatedly while I was only giving my name and address, no details at all. After 6 minutes, she gets back on the line to tell me that I have to call my Home Warranty. I said why, I paid you and I'm waiting for your Company. Well no one is here, it's Saturday. You put me on hold for 6 minutes to discover that and repeat a rubber stamp response. In her total sarcastic arrogant tone, Sandy stated, awe well thank you so much, you have a wonderful day and hung up.
Up until this point, I gave this company the benefit of the doubt, that no group of people could be this incompetent, unprofessional, mismanaged, and chaotic. There is some disconnect that defies logic for repeatedly sending a Tech out to do nothing. Well, it is safe to say, that there is no benefit of the doubt. This clown car of incompetence is merely a cover for a scam that collected my money, didn't provide a service, caused collateral damage that will cost me money to repair, and still the initial HVAC problem exists and has NEVER been addressed. Complaint filed with BBB and CA Attorney General to follow.

    HVAC Repair
    $100

I am extremely disappointed with True Comfort HVAC. Despite maintaining my AC unit diligently and having receipts to prove it, the technician inaccurately reported that the faulty circuit board and motor were due to lack of maintenance without even consulting me. This false report led to my claim being denied by my home warranty provider. I provided paid invoices for regular maintenance, but the misleading report from True Comfort HVAC caused unnecessary hardship. My family had to endure the cold for days, forcing us to purchase heaters. I found their practices questionable and untrustworthy, and I will not be using their services again.

DO NOT let these people in your house! Our home warranty company has been amazing until they sent True Comfort to our house. We are currently on week 7 of a broken AC. From the moment Vladimir stepped foot in our house he had an attitude and went as far as huffed and rolled his eyes in my face when I asked him simple clarifying questions. Wouldn't look at our vents even the service request was for a Vent issue and Broken AC. He then said our whole unit needed to be replaced and we will have to open our cieling. He then took another week to submit the diagnostic to the home warranty and then another week to order parts after work was approve. We called for 5 weeks to find out where the cieling access needs to be for them to fix the unit then miraculously the cieling unit doesn't need to be replace just the compressor. They show up Monday week 6 fix it and the vents are still not really blowing. They tell me we need to pay $1400 for services our warranty doesnt cover, but "if i pay them with Zelle I will be free of a prospering fee". I call my husband because they seem to bring this up as soon as he left for work. The tech calls someone at their shop and hands the phone to me, when I start asking questions he cuts me off when I talk and was very pushy. I paid with a CC so we could have a paper trail to submit to our home warranty company. That night AC unit is 3x louder then it has ever been and the vents still don't blow. Our tech gets sent to our house Wednesday to look at it again. They show up in flip flops and shorts and we're very pushy telling me the air ducts are not coved even though they are. Then after I pushed back he then walked around and took readings. My husband came home to meet with them too and as soon as he did they hustled out of our house in hopes he would not talk to them. He had to chase them to thier van. Tech refused to tell us how things looked then when we asked for he's list of reading he reluctant showed us. One room was blowing more then double the amount of the rest of the house (obviously and issue) he doubled down more and just started talking in circles. It's a NIGHTMARE! Our warranty has now approved a 3rd party to come in and inspect True Comforts work and the things they obviously didn't even try to look at in the first place. I REPEAT DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOUSE!

    AC Diagnostic and repair

Horrible customer service and horrible unprofessional techs. Select Home Warranty sent them out to my house, the did a diagnostic, charged me $65.00 and left. They never gave the diagnostic to Select, When I called they told me they never came to my house, they didn't have the diagnostic results. When I told them I have proof they did because I have the $65. receipt. I was hung up on. I called back and was placed on hold, no one ever picked up.

    AC repair

I recently had an insurance job handled by True Comfort HVAC through Choice Home Warranty, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The authorization process was quick and seamless, allowing the work to start promptly.
The technician who came to our home was polite and professional. They replaced my condenser fan motor and completed the job in a very short period of time. We are now enjoying our air conditioning and are extremely satisfied with the quality of work provided.
I highly recommend True Comfort HVAC for their efficiency and professionalism.

So far, terrible diagnosis reports, their phone representatives constantly will interrupt, avoid taking responsibility for their works, cannot keep tracks records of their reports, etc. I was force to use this company to address the warranty claims, avoid if all costs.
