  I would NEVER recommend Trustway Homes to ANYONE!!! We had leaks from our roof during the first 5 years of occupancy after taking possession of our newly built home. Issues with the lower level foundation were never corrected on the front of the home. Even before taking possession of our home during the walk through we pointed out damp basement walls. We were told that was “normal” and would dry out. We called back several times. Water literally came over the top of the basement walls. Musty smell, water stained basement walls that look like TV commercial photos for basements that need repair. We pointed out the lumpy cedar shake roof partially at the highest level of the home. They told us it “would get flat overtime.” This was and still is visible to this day. I have contacted Steve Klevet over the years to no avail. Now we get no return call. They did not paint the ceilings where they repaired leaks after they finally replaced a portion of the roof over the curved transom window. This occurred after many calls to Trustway during rain storms where water was literally coming through the ceiling of our second floor master bedroom. Later when the sunshine would hit just right I could tell where water had hit the ceilings during the building process. I remain very dissatisfied with the lack of care Trustway gave our home during the building process. Trustway built a new beautiful headquarters building during the time our home was built. They no longer occupy that building and have since relocated. There is a phone number now, but you get an answering machine and no return calls. I should say “WE” get no return calls. We remain a very dissatisfied customer of Trustway and believe we are NOT the only dissatisfied customers.
