Extremely disappointed with this Builder. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Trophy Signature Homes didn't allow my client to use our local, preferred lender for which she was pre-qualified (Supreme Lending) and proceeded to change their advertised pricing when we wanted to write a contract. They no-showed a scheduled meeting and wouldn't return calls to the agent or prequalified client. My client is a teacher/coach in the school district they are Seller. Complete lack of professionalism and basic common courtesy.

After waiting 9 months for our home to be built, 4 different close dates. NO communication from the sales rep, or the closing rep after receiving our "CLEAR TO CLOSE" they canceled our contract and sold our home to someone else. This company is the worst! I heard they have done this to other families.

I planned on purchasing a house from this builder in Frisco, TX and was pre qualified prior to COVID. I put down $5,000 in earnest money. The employee who worked for them told my real estate agent and I that we could get our earnest money back if we didn’t go through with the purchase. After COVID the guidelines for loans changed and I no longer qualified to purchase the home. This builder refuses to pay back my earnest money. I’ve had to hire a lawyer and we are about to go to arbitration. Awful experience... don’t trust them at all. Don’t go through the same experience, use a different builder.

My husband and I's experience with building our home with Trophy has been extremely disappointing and disheartening. We closed on our home in July 2021 and in our 10th month of owning the home we began to see extreme deterioration of our driveway including numerous large and deep holes and cracks and flaking over the majority of the concrete. We obtained a third party inspection which pointed out the many flaws of our concrete driveway, as well as consulted with two separate concrete contractors out of our own pocket and time. Both contractors agreed that the driveway had terrible workmanship/craftsmanship and was not worth patching due to the damage already done. Additionally, the contractors pointed out that the joints in our driveway were not properly placed as they should be 10 feet apart and our joints are 18-20 feet apart. We have received quotes from both contractors quoting our driveway to be completely redone for upwards of $17.5K, of which Trophy is now saying we will be on the line for. A driveway is built to last 30 years and after less than a year our driveway is already in need of repair. We submitted our warranty requests and spoke with Micah Metzger who came to our home multiple times both alone and with his supervisor and notified us each time that this would not be under warranty, however they would offer a courtesy to look into the issue. Micah and his supervisor let us know that they would be sending out a concrete specialist and that we would be notified of this happening so we could be present, this notification never happened and no one ever came to our home to inspect our driveway. However, Micah is claiming that a specialist did come out and it has been determined that our driveway will not be covered under warranty, other than a "courtesy" patching of holes and cracks. My husband and I have done our own research and found that Trophy Signature Homes is both not upholding state and national standards (Texas Minimum Construction Standards and American Concrete Institute ACI-18), but per Trophy's very own Performance Standards our driveway is not up to their standard. Additionally, per the Warranty documentation that Trophy gave us, all defects in workmanship and material are covered for up to one year and therefore our driveway which was poorly crafted should be covered. And not only does this lack of workmanship meet any stated standards, but the ethical standards being clearly shown by Trophy are extremely disappointing. BEWARE of these builders.
We are extremely disappointed and will no longer be recommending or using ourselves Trophy to build any future homes.
