These guys are amateurs and do shoddy work! They did my half bath and kitchen floor. They came highly recommended. They managed to fool me by getting a solid reference from their tile dealer. When Frank quoted the job, he assured me he knew how to lay "rectified" tile , meaning, the tile has a square edge and must be laid using 0 spacing. After demolishing my old ceramic floor and prepping the subfloor, Frank informs me he would have to lay the tiles using an 1/8" spacing. In short he did not have the requiset skill level to lay them as required but, mislead me about his skill level in order to secure the job. The tile were laid unevenly giving off a terrible shadding effect in daylight or full lighting. Also, the grout was done incorrectly. It is lower in some areas and higher in others...again, giving off a terrible shade effect. The subfloor was not prepped correctly either, as evidenced by cracking of the grout in several spots. I was concerned about this beforehand and Frank assured me "it would done correctly." The half bath was another issue. After starting the work Frank was visibly upset showing a lack of skill and patience. At the end of the first day Frank approaches me to tell me he'd have to charge me another $600 to complete the job because I "did not inform him the tiles were so large," 11 1/2" x23". In the end, the wall tiles were improperly layed. In one spot, the tile bulges so much out that we had to put a plant on a stand in front to hide the workmanship defect. After using high end and expensive materials, Porcelanosa, and spending a pretty penny on labor, these guys ain't cheap, and going through the hassles and mess of construction I am disappointed and disgusted with the work these charlatans have done. In short, be forewarned, DON'T USE THESE GUYS FOR YOUR FLOORING RENOVATIONS!
