Not happy right now at all! Main bath renovation was said to take 4 to 7 days total. Before agreeing to estimate, he promised to leave toilet and sink usuable. This is the only bath in the house.
He did not have all materials even after receiving the "mobilization" funds. As of today, 4 weeks later, there are still major issues with work.
Charges for materials not installed, uneven and unlevel tiles, different colors of grout throughout bathroom, cracking grout lines, uneven grout lines, hollow sounding tiles (why?), questionable installation of insulation...
After numerous phone calls, He returns, looks at issues but never has time to make repairs. So still, he has not returned to the job and RESOLVED these issues to customer satisfaction.
Customer is a contractor and is very familiar with business standards. Now customer is receiving phone calls about not paying the final amount.
If these issues are resolved to customer satisfaction Turnkey will receive payment. If they are unable to do the job correctly, they need to discuss with customer.
I hire Turnkey Remodel and Renovations to paint my home on April 21, 2020. I understood due to the current situation that it may take longer than expected, however it is now Sept 14, 2020 and the job has yet to be completed. The owner of Turnkey and I have had several conversations and emails with him continually promising he will complete the task. His initial excuse was COVID-19, then it was the weather, on our last conversation Sept 1, 2020 he stated that he would complete the task on Sept 12, 2020 " that he had the supplies", of course that day came and went. Hopefully by contacting the BBB my complaint will be addressed.
