Unfortunately, Jason Kaplow is a contractor who took the money and ran without finishing the job or even delivering all materials that had been paid for! He lied about what he had done, blamed the supply house for messing up orders he never placed, then he disappeared and has not returned calls for over 4 months to date.
It's very disappointing as he did decent work for us in the past. Based on our first project, we thought he was talented, had good ideas, and seemed to be trustworthy. Ironically, he even trashed other contractors who didn't return calls!
Don't fall for his act of the honest guy and be very wary of payment terms. He is not trustworthy. I'm surprised he's put his reputation at risk on what was a relatively small project and a return phone call.
