U.S. Exterior by Seidel has been improving homes in the Greater Chicago Area since 1970. Since our inception, we've specialized exclusively on home exteriors. We have 45+ years of experience in roofing, vinyl siding, fiber cement siding, seamless gutters, replacement windows, and custom trim work.
Managed by Udo Seidel, Jr. and founded by his father in 1970, we are second generation “specialists” who have never deviated from our specialty, and we encourage home owners to check with us before they put their precious homes in the hands of someone who will forever change the image that they present to their neighbors and the world.

Udo of US Exterior delivered on all of our expectations. We requested bids from three different companies. Udo is the only one who personally conducted a thorough inspection, in and outside of our house, and walked us through his proposal very clearly. His pricing is competitive and the quality of the materials and workmanship far surpassed his competitors. We would recommend US Exterior by Seidel for roofing in a heartbeat!

We cannot recommend US Exteriors highly enough. We were about to put our home on the market (time to downsize) and learned that we had issues with the Dryvit exterior through an inspection. News that you have to spend tens of thousands on your home before you can sell it is not welcome. We had a number of estimates done and even then Udo stood out as professional and knowledgeable. After sorting through the various bids and weighing online reviews we decided to go with US Exteriors. So glad we did. Price was fair which is all you can really ask for. Everything went exactly as we were told it would at the beginning. The crew of Lucas & Chris were friendly and also professional. They were here every day on time (weather permitting) and worked their butts off. Because of the Dryvit tear off there were some unknowns going in. The crew let us know whenever they came across any issues related to the Dryvit and were kind enough to take the necessary photos for the insurance company as they went. Udo visited a few times a week during the entire process. We hated spending the money but US Exterior made the experience as painless as possible. Professionals through & through.
