Had the entire front and back yards torn out except for trees and large bushes. Replaced the front with small sections of artificial grass and plantings with bark. The back had lawn replaced with artificial grass, all sprinklers replaced, bubblers and drip lines, and removal of planting beds and revision with new plantings and bark and drip lines. Trees were surrounded with bark, new low flow watering, and brick circles. Patio pots were removed and discarded. I was able to use many surviving plants, and the contractor planted them where I requested. We also went to the nursery and with his help I selected new plants for the front and a few areas in the back which should work out very well. I also had decomposed granite reapplied in the back side yard and around the grass areas and in front of the fruit trees, so that I can get around and work without mud. He was very responsive to revisions and requests, such as removing old sprinkler heads, placing new bubblers in the ring of bark for trees, and assuring that each area was adequately but not overly supplied with water. They hauled off a lot of old pots, patio furniture, etc. as well as dead plants, lawn, etc. I also had a new watering system control placed, which is very easy to use. The contractor set it up and demonstrated how to use it. They cleaned up after themselves very well. They also replanted things from the patio pots into the ground or into new larger pots that I had purchased. Very responsive, excellent work, thorough, and fair price. Only a few small items left to change or fix, then the job is done, and last check written.
