I would say this company is sloppy and unprofessional. We ( a church) hired them to do a very large job of removing lead based paint throughout the church. The first day they show up to do the work and begin without taking any of the OSHA protocol. They did not seal off area nor cover everything. Fortunately, we had a knowledgable staff that realized that it was not being done correctly. We had to call our lead base paint consultant to come and speak with them. They had to go out and buy everything that was needed- plastic to seal off room and a special shop n vac. They didn't buy a shop vac that was for lead based paint and had to return it. They can tell us whatever lies they want about why the guys started without the proper equipment but I think they were just really trying to cut corners while putting everyone's health at risk. I don't think the guys ever wore the protective suits that is required. Once they sealed off the area we are not sure what they did. If it hadn't been such a large job and on time constraints we would have gone elsewhere. They insisted that flat paint was the best to use which I do not believe to be correct. They painted over outlets. Removed some outlet cover and light switch covers and never replaced them and have yet to be found. They totally missed an area back in the hallway. They dripped paint on the kitchen floor area and did not clean it up. Everyday, the foreman would go to the secretary's office and tell her for 1/2 hour what he was going to do for us today as if he was doing us a favor. He was getting paid to do the job. When they were done removing paint and sealing the walls and the plastic was removed every time we went down the guys were texting on their phones or outside smoking. We had set up a payment schedule as the work progressed. The foreman was always wanting the money early-giving us a million excuses instead of just telling us the truth. When they said they were done we had to go around and show them all the spots they had missed. The spots were quite obvious and they should have noticed them before we said anything. No I would not recommend them for a lead based paint or large job.
