  Roof replacement

  I could not be any happier with this company. They are prompt, efficient and stand behind their work. I would recommend Ultimate Roofing to everyone. Their work is phenomenal!! Jeremy came today and knew exactly what he was doing. They take pride in their work.

  Tony came out, gave the job a good look, gave me a reasonable bid that was in line with the other one we had. He also sent us some examples of his company's work. We paid him half down and he had a member of his crew come out and get precise measurements (our house is a Cape Cod style home with two large dormers and some tricky angles). The roofing and additional materials were delivered and a couple days later his lead guy Jeremy and the rest of the crew showed-up and went at it. They actually worked on the job 4 days with all four seasons of weather through-out. It was as cold as 8 degrees F one morning and one afternoon it almost hit 60 degrees F and it rained and snowed at different times - typical winter in West Virginia weather!. Jeremy kept the job moving through-out and fixed a crazy weird water channeling issue that had been causing the corner of our garage to leak and rot - Saying Jeremy fixed it doesn't really do it justice - he expertly fabricated a custom metal diversion/sealing/channeling piece and inserted it perfectly into the weird spot that was leaking. The crew also made sure the jobsite was cleaned-up after the work was done and even ran a magnet around the area for stray screws, etc. My wife very impressed and pleased with the update it gave our house - I believe we got a good value. Tony is taking pictures with his drone that will be superior to mine and I hope he attaches them to this.

  1 Star for crew being great guys. 1 Star for finally finishing job. I would not use them again or recommend. Just be honest with your customers. Lying and putting them off gets you no where.
  March 20, 2019 Signed contract. Told they were 4-6 weeks out.
  April 12, 2019 Signed another contract.
  May 6, 2019 Messaged Brad. He said that he’d call in the morning to have them get started.
  May 8, 2019 Messaged Brad to see about schedule. He was surprised they hadn’t started because he was told they’d be there on the 7th.
  May, 11, 2019 Messaged Brad regarding schedule. He told me he had no clue and that I should contact Tony.
  I messaged Tony regarding schedule. No reply.
  May 12, 2019 Tony replied and said starting next week.
  May 13, 2019 Tony came to the house. He said the house was going to look great.
  May 15, 2019 A gentlemen dropped off siding and other supplies.
  May 22, 2019 Texted Tony regarding start date. No reply, so I messaged Brad. Tony had his crews in Snow Shoe for a big job.
  May 28, 2019 Texted Tony regarding start date. No reply.
  May 29, 2019 Messaged Brad and expressed frustration.
  May 30, 2019 Steve called and left me a message. Said that they’d be here on Monday June 3, 2019.
  June 3, 2019 No Show. Text Steve and he called me. He didn’t remember telling me that they’d be here today. He called me later and said that Lisa cancelled the job because there was concern about how far my windows were recessed. He would come tomorrow to look himself.
  June 4, 2019 Steve came to look at the house. He said windows were not a problem.
  June 5, 2019 Steve left message saying they’d be here Monday June 10, 2019.
  June 8, 2019 Steve left message saying that they would not be here Monday due to rain.
  June 11, 2019 No Show. Sent on another job. Steve said they’d be here in the morning.
  June 12, 2019 Late showing up. Got start approx. 9 am and left approx. 4 pm.
  June 13, 2019 No Show due to rain.
  June 14, 2019 Late showing up. Only 3 of 4 guys came. Left early.
  June 17, 2019 No Show. Steve didn’t know why.
  June 18, 2019 Late show 10 am and left at 3 pm.
  June 19, 2019 8 am – 4 pm
  June 20, 2019 Started approx. 8am but only 2 of 4 guys showed. Sent to another job.
  June 21, 2019 Start approx. 8 am. Only 3 of 4 guys showed. Left 4-4:30.
  June 24, 2019 Started early and Left around 6pm. Only 3 of 4 guys showed. They broke my water line when putting in new outside faucet.
  June 25, 2019 Showed early. 2 of 4 guys showed. They were sent on another job. The 2 remaining left for lunch and only one returned. Josh didn’t know why the outside faucet was hissing. Said he was sure it wasn’t leaking. Kurt came home, tore the wall apart and found it was spraying water. They had cross thread the pipe and the other pipe was in crooked. I messaged Tony. Kurt fixed the line.

  I text Josh to let him know that both sides need redone. They are not level. They are tilted and off approx. 3”.
  June 28, 2019 No show. Text Josh and he said they were sent on another job.
  July 1-4 All guys showed. They were in a hurry to pack up and leave. Got them out 3 times to fix things they forgot. Found more but was frustrated and decided to fix ourselves. They didn't run the magnet before leaving. We are still picking up nails and screws all around the house and in driveway.
  The crew guys were respectable and great guys. But the first week I had to clean up their garbage. Josh cleaned up the second week on. I don't blame them for how long it took to start and finish. They have to go where they are told.

  Replace roof on our home

  Ultimate roofing completed our roof February 2019. I highly recommend this company. Everyone from Brad who provided an estimate and answered all our questions , the crew who did the job and the owner of the company was professional, friendly and helpful. Our roof looks beautiful.

  Ultimate Roofing, a relatively new Company to the north central West Virginia community, is proving to fill an urgently needed void in an area where few contractors display the values which legitimate prospective customers are frustrated in finding.

  After many inquiries I found Ultimate Roofing displayed:
  1. Prompt, respectful response to my initial inquiry which continued through the entire roof replacement process.
  2. Reasonable prices.
  3. Great employee work ethic including:
  a. Respect for the customer and his property.
  b. Training, knowledge and cooperation in their respective duties.
  c. Early, long, dedicated workdays.
  d. Prompt disposal of debris.
  e. Timely completion of project.

  I strongly recommend Ultimate Roofing.

  As a footnote: The lack of contractor references on well known sites such as Angie's List and Home Advisor for the West Virginia area reflects the need for the frustrated customer of more capable and serious contractors in all areas of expertise.

  I had Ultimate Roofing WV come by and give me an estimate. They came in cheeper then anyone else and they were so respectful and a pleasure to be around. They put my new roof on in two days and it looks fantastic.
