    Buyers beware! Make sure you know exactly what you are getting and get it all in writing upfront. We had an accepted offer for a new construction home in Brentwood subdivision with Ryan from Unbridled Builders. The listing said we could fully customize and had pictures of an “almost identical model home.” We are moving across the country and paid over asking. Come to find out the house we bought wasn’t the same and we couldn’t pick out some items that were listed in the listing as customizable. Then the straw that broke the camels back and the reason we back out of the deal was because Ryan demanded we pay for flooring that hadn’t even been picked out and he wanted the payment in full 3 days later….like we were fronting his construction costs. So many red flags. None of this was ever talked about before the contract was signed even though he knew we wanted hardwoods in the bedrooms. I feel like Ryan was deceitful and untrustworthy. This was an expensive lesson learned.
