Unique Installations

Unfortunately Home Depot uses this 3rd party company for door installations. Jubert Dominguez was my installer. The installation was done correctly. I would prefer the barn door to be adjusted a little closer to the wall to make it more flush and to make more clearance for the front door at a 90 degree angle from the coat closet. I can't leave a message or reach anyone at the company to come back out so far. The main complaint was my installer was scheduled for 8-10am and called at 9:40am to tell me that he's being delayed by Home Depot for not fulfilling the order on time (which was a lie). Then he shows up an hour later (I live 5 mins from Home Depot). He made me an hour late for work, I missed a dept meeting! Once he started the work everything went smoothly. This experience was marred by dishonesty and lateness. If he had come on time this company might've gotten 5 stars.

Completely botched a door install purchased through home depot. The gentleman that installed the doors, put holes in my walls and damaged the paint and failed to tell me. A few doors wont even shut and another is starting to sag. Damaged floors, damaged door jams.

They also wont return my emails when asked about fixing the damages. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I will change my review once the work is complete. But right now I'm irritated, bc I get a phone call 20 minutes before they are supposed to come out, to tell me it's canceled. He said it's due to rain, but my radar clearly says the rain has passed, and the sun is coming out through my window? Sounds like he just wanted a day off, well that's great for you, bc I had to call out of work and move my kids appointments around just to get the install today. They gave me a time frame between 8 and 10. It's 740. Why not just show up at 10am if your so worried? The weather is perfectly fine. Honestly sounded like a LAZY EXCUSE... Thank you for the huge inconvenience!

My experience with this company was horrible! My appointment was made two months out. Two days before my first scheduled appointment, I got a call that it was canceled and they wanted to reschedule. I rescheduled and the second appointment was canceled. The third and final appointment, the installer picked my items up at home depot and called 30 minutes before the scheduled time to cancel because of the rain. I contacted HD and canceled and my order because I had taken three days off for this company and I refused to waste anymore time with them. In addition, Home Depot is just as responsible for what happened with me. If I could give them a zero, I would.

I would highly recommend Unique Installations to all, they are the residential door installers for Home Depot. The office staff were friendly and very helpful. The installer arrived on my scheduled install date on time and was very proficient with my door installation, it looks amazing!

I had a great experience with Unique Installations, the office staff were very professional and friendly, they had to reschedule my installation once due to inclement weather, it was rescheduled at my convenience, two weeks later. The installer (Mark) was on time, very professional, informative and he did a great job! I will use Unique Installations again for future door installations, I am recommending Unique Installations to anyone who needs a door installed.

This Company sucks their customer service sucks Katlyn whom is suppose to be the manager over the scheduling dept. Blows you off and has no regards for what you feel or think about there company. They give you appoints so far out til its ridiculous the wait timeframe Home Depot needs to get someone else whom is more professional especially given all the Military families giving them business

As others have noted, they are completely unreliable. No-showed or rescheduled on me at the very last minute on 3 occasions. Beware: they are a contractor for Home Depot, so be sure to ask questions about who you’ll be dealing with. Avoid this company at all costs.

Scheduled my appointment 3 weeks in advance- was a no show. Never called to cancel. Called them and they wanted to reschedule the next week. I had already took off from work for previous schedule- can’t just take off at anytime. Thanks for being very UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Not a business I would recommend to anyone!

Unique installations is the only company Home Depot use for for home installations. This company is unreliable abs unprofessional. Schedule my installation a month out then cancelled the day before. Very unreliable and unprofessional.

I would not wish this company on my worst enemy. The contractors are arrogant, condescending and belligerent. Work will not be done on time or on budget.
