The most unprofessional contractor of any kind I have worked with. Simple pool project in Coral Gables was estimated to take 8-12 weeks, and it has been over a year since the project began, still with no completion date in sight leaving our entire yard a mess and unusable for over a year. They do not show up when they say they will, and let weeks/months pass with no work done or updates. While there were delays with the city out of our control, it took multiple requests to get responses from Unique Pools for updates, and though we paid them to handle the zoning/city approvals, we still had to go to city hall to get approvals ourselves 3 times.
Unique Pools has also charged us “unforeseen” extra fees throughout the process which have added up to 10’s of thousands of dollars. It would be another case if the company was apologetic or attempted to compensate somehow, but instead they have exhibited combative, aggressive and unpleasant personalities across the board from the top down.
It is unfortunately understandable that many projects take longer and go over budget, but this is to a ridiculous degree that a one star review is too generous for Unique Pools. Nightmare experience. Save yourself a massive headache and go elsewhere to a company that cares about their customer service.
