I do NOT recommend this company. I wish "zero stars" was an option. The owner is unprofessional, unorganized, tries to force unnecessary projects on you and, in my case, walked away with my $17,000 deposit without finishing the work and told me to take him to court. There were a number of problems I had. Here are some specifics:
1. There were many days that no one showed up to work on my projects. We had to send a message out daily to try to understand what was the plan for our kitchen. Even after requesting a plan and a timeline for our kitchen project multiple times over 3 months, we got a bunch of excuses and never got anything in writing. (NOTE: If you use this company, DO NOT let him write a generic contract or say "it is a basic contract so not much detail is required". Make him write it all in the contract, go over every detail, and SET A TIMELINE. Our initial conversations were VERY cordial so I dropped my guard on this simple rule--get a detailed contract).
2. The delays were outrageous. We were initially told the kitchen project would take 2-3 weeks after we signed the contract (contract signed on 18 Jul 2023). When it was clear that was not going to happen, he changed it to 4-6 weeks (which was a little upsetting but it was fine). 15 weeks later, we still do not have a kitchen (as of 6 Nov 2023, just a gutted empty space). (NOTE: My project was never completed. The company just walked away with my $17,000 deposit).
3. There were unnecessary projects he insisted I had to do. He was "1000% sure" that I had a massive leak under my foundation and I needed to hire him for a $8000 project to redo the plumbing in part of my home. I was about ready to start a contract, but it didn't make sense to me, so, at my direction, I asked to test the toilets for leaks (a toilet leak made sense to a novice like me). It turned out to be a $20 toilet part (I bought a new toilet to make sure there were no issues). Another unnecessary project he wanted to add was to "float" my entire downstairs with hundreds of bags of concrete, which would cost over $7000. I only needed part of my floor leveled and definitely did not need the entire downstairs "floated" (I knew "leveling" was needed from the beginning and was told it was part of the contract--reference my note about "details" in example 1 above). I found someone to do what I needed for less than $1500 (including materials).I could go on with the many frustrating days we had with this contractor during the 15 weeks after signing a Kitchen Remodel contract. Suffice it to say, this was the most horrible professional encounter I've ever had. I am a 31 year military veteran with hundreds of hours of air combat missions in the middle east so it is saying something when I say this was ONE OF THE WORSE EXPERIENCES IN MY LIFE. Buyer beware.

I really thought AC Pros was professional and reasonably priced. They were a recommendation from my brother and they did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend them.

I would avoid this contractor at all costs. I wish I saw the review submitted in November of 2023 before I started working with this contractor because my experience was similar. The contractor was unprofessional and glossed over many details, but always assured me that everything would be fine despite my concerns.
United Construction Pros was supposed to build out a two-story garage which they deemed to be "routine" work for them in February of 2024. Everything was going relatively smooth until my second to last payment went through. At that point, almost all the work stopped. I paid $77,850 of an $82,000 contract that would completely finish out the two story garage. At the time of writing this (June 2025), the framing is not complete and the plywood paneling on the outside is rotted. I have requested a refund that United Construction Pros has failed to provide. They barely answer my text messages and don't answer my calls so I am seeking legal action to recoup my payments for work that was never even started.
This contractor will continually tell you the project will get done eventually, but then never do anything to finish it. We have been patient, but after a year of waiting, we understand that this contractor does not intend to finish our project. It's sad because we trusted this contractor initially, and now over the course of 1.5 years, that trust has been completely shattered.
