Up A Creek Plumbing

My water pipes froze during this extreme cold freeze we had last week where we reached the single digits. I had no water and admittedly as a single female living on 2 acres with several dogs and my adult daughter and her fiancé, became a bit panicked with no water. That means no showers, flushing the toilets, washing the dishes, etc. I got onto Angie's List and just started at the top of the list. Everyone I called said I had to wait until the pipes thawed and they were booked for days in advance. Sorry, unacceptable
I called Up a Creek Plumbing LLC and reached Shaun Bills, owner of Up a Creek Plumbing LLC. He was quite sympathetic and said he could make it the next day.
Shaun showed up before the appointment time and had to wait for me to get off work. The broken pipe was close to the well pump inside my shop. Shaun had to go get the necessary parts because my pvc piping was so large. He was back quickly and fixed the broken pipes. This was probably about 5pm. We still didn't have water though because they were frozen solid. He recommended we rent a big tube industrial propane heater from Home Depot. With the assistance of my brother-in-law we quickly were able to thaw the pipes only to discover another cracked pipe. Called Shaun at about 8:00pm and he said he would be right out after he finished the job he was on. He saw the parts that needed replacement and ran to Home Depot to get them. He fixed this leak and worked to get the pump started. He are now talking about 10:00 and 17 degrees outside. After quite some time the pump finally obliged and started working and we had water!!!!! Only to quickly see that right outside the shop on the exterior side of where he had fixed the previous broken pipe was a spicket with galvanized pipe leading down into my cement sidewalk that was gushing water up out of the hole. This would take a jackjammer to break up the concrete, Shaun was so apologetic that he was not able to get me water like he thought we was going to but came back the next day and broke open the concrete just enough to repair the broken junction. We crossed our fingers and turned the pump on again and.....WATER and no leaks.
Shaun was phenomenal. He stayed in frigid temperatures trying to get me water until almost 11pm. I cannot tell you how cold it was. He is professional, friendly, caring, punctual, encouraging...I cannot express how happy I am with his service. I went to work the next day and was advertising for him if anybody needed a plumber to call Shaun.
I have used Angie's List several times and admittedly usually do not take the time to write the reviews. Shaun and his wife Sarah Bills deserve your business. Look no further.
