    Home addition and remodel
    $317,000

    I signed a contract with UPGC on 9/27/2019 for a home addition and remodel project. Per the payment terms of the contract, I provided a 25% down payment to begin work upon the closing of the construction loan on 10/4/2019. Between then and 01/07/2020, only a foundation was completed. After not being on site for weeks, Klint Miller advised that UPGC would not be back until Spring. On 01/27/20, Klint advised that "UPGC is no more" and I have not heard anything further from the company. They only paid $7000 of approximately $35,000 invoiced to him by subcontractors, so that I am left paying them to avoid liens when I already pre-paid UPGC for those services. I have been contacted by at least 2 other victims of his scams and have heard there are close to a dozen more.
