    he representative of the company, aubrey("aj") johnson, came and gave me his card with the upright fence name and showed me work from the upright fence website that he said he did. After he did work for me it is clear that he doesn't know how to do fences, he doesn't know how to build gates, he doesn't know how to plant sod or plants, he doesn't know how to do drywall, and he doesn't know how to make a wood walkway or railings, to name a few things that he can't do but says he can. Almost everything needs to be redone or extremely modified to make it safe or usable.

    Almost everything he did needs to be redone.
    He took these amounts of money and then just kept the money and didn't do what the money was given for: $7,100.00 gates and well; $6,040.00 sod;
    $5,790.00 stain and paint; $1,700.00 crepe myrtle trees; $956.00 drain pipe, culvert; walking stones($1,000.00); gates($1,000.00).
    He said jobs were finished but were not: fence, gates, walkway ramp, french drains, deck, dry wall, driveway, ... .
    I'm sure I left out half of the things but this will give you an idea below.
    None of the 10 gates works. Three gates could not be opened at all. One he remade three times and still did not work . Another had the post supporting it come loose within two weeks of being made. And the barbed wire attached to it came loose as well. The gates were too heavy and the hinges too weak. The hinge screws were too short and the gates just dropped down and the wood cracked where the hinges were installed. None of the latches lined up. Only four rows of barbed wire instead of the traditional five. My 110 pound dog could fit through the opening at the bottom and constantly cuts himself. The dog ripped a very long cut in the skin off his leg and had to have numerous staples to hold the skin back together. A little bit deeper would have hit an artery. Mr. Johnson always said he would go back and fix all the failing jobs or jobs done wrong but never did. Anywhere corners could be cut and shortcuts taken they were to save whatever the amount of money he could save even if it meant doing a poor job that would not last even a year. And he didn't care that the jobs were gone so poorly that it was dangerous to walk on.
    All the fence boards were installed with staples and no screws and i had to have all that redone. As well as loose fence posts taken out because they are coming loose because he didn't put them deep enough or put enough concrete around them, or started attaching weight to them before the concrete setup. I caught him when i dug down around 16 foot posts and there was no concrete and then he put it. None of the fence material was pulled tight and just left loose. And then he tried to support and tighten it with single screws or screws and zinc washers which are rusting away within a few months. Used indoor wood on one outdoor gate. Not treated wood.
    A wood walking path has whole sections that collapsed from the weight of walking on it because only one or two screws were used instead of bolts, to support the weight walking on it. I had to pay somebody to reinforce the walkway at each post with bolts. And the whole railing is coming apart as the wood dries and sections just come completely loose. The railing pieces were cut to fit between the posts instead of long enough to be attached into the back of each post. Then he put screws at big angles through the railing into the posts? Unbelievable.
    Where he did drywall there's about 8 outlets and wall switches and they are all set too deep in the wall to put cover plates on any of them. He said that job was done and wanted to be paid even though it wasn't done, like so many other jobs he supposedly did. In addition to none of the cover plates which could not be put on, there were no window sills either. And the door was too tight and could not be opened or closed.
    I'm finding out that nothing he did is lasting more than a few weeks or months and has to be redone. He took many 100 thousand dollars from me and didn't know what he was doing. I gave him $6,000.00 for sod because he said he didn't realize how much was needed and then he never brought another blade of grass again. And never finished placing the sod in eight months. He would ask for the money as if he was going to get something or do something
