Upstate Restoration Construction

This guy is no good friend of family what a disgrace started off good tells you I can get this for a certain amount of money but the price is going to go up give him a check and never did what he was supposed to do! Was given 250, to clean my heat ducks not done ,was given 250, to change my bathroom vent/light never got it , did my bathroom had to grout it three times because it kept coming out and we did what we were supposed to do! So my husband did it his self and for once it stayed in place ! Did my basement was given good money got the cheapest cupboard that he had to paint and the look like shit ,was to change light payed for and also a bathroom door never got took 2000, for putting tiles down in laundry area we didn’t do but never got the money refunded, had a retaining wall that he keep pulling on it to the point that it had to be replaced! Another 2000 was given took weeks to come back dug one week later put a concrete barrier and had a excuse all the time when he would be returning never came back had to hire someone else to do his dirty work but yet showed up driving a Denali truck I guess he needed extra money for his truck! My opinion he is nothing but a piece of ship that should not be allowed to do any job because he will just screw you big time he should be ashamed of his self.Debbie Vigliotti

Jim Whitmire obviously is a Con man! I paid him with a check for 835.00 on 12/14/21 for a window replacement job. He cashed the check 12/15/21 has never supplied me with a receipt from the manufacturer or the windows!! 4/12/22 he responded to my text was going to refund my money has yet to do so! See you in small claims court BOY!! DO NOT TRUST HIS LIES…DECEITFUL!!

Jim Whitmire like everyone here has stated is unreliable, does not come when he says he is. Had him put a new metal roof on, gave him the full amount up front. Took him a year to do it, he did do it, so unlike some people here I was lucky he got it done. Said he'd mail me the receipt but never did, also send he'd come each year to do maintenance on it but never has. Stay away!!

Had to chase Jim Whitmore for months to get my money back of in completed work and he still owes me $100 !! Also I have paid almost $1,000 to other contractors to fix his work especially electrical which what he did could of burned my house down !! Never completed all the work, Tile and electrical work suck, Never shows up when says he going to, He is extremely shady and untrustworthy stay far far far Away !!!

Jim Whitmire is a thief! Stay far away. A month beyond estimated finishing date. Stole a door out of the materials and ripped us off on every piece. Bathroom looks horrific and the tile work is crap.

Jim whitmire is unprofessional and unreliable. He started remodeling My bathroom and finished half of it and then when I contacted him to finish the rest he told me on 5 separate occasions he would be over to remeasure and start.. each time he never showed up or called me tell me he wouldn’t be over. He did the same thing to my daughter and son in law. It’s sad because what he did for me was good quality work and he seems to know what he is doing but I wouldnt recommend him to anyone.

Jim Whitmire took over $1000 from my father this past summer as a deposit for a roofing job. He never showed up to do the work and when my father started calling for answers Jim would lie and tell him he would be over, never show up and never call to let my father know. Jim Whitmire stopped returning my father's phone calls once my dad started requesting his money back. We are into December now and still nothing. My father plans to take him to small claims court. MY FATHER IS 87 YEARS OLD. Jim Whitmire, you are a coward and a thief. Shame on you.

Did half way decent work when he was here, been waiting for 4 months for a refund and he stopped communicating with me for about two months now.
