    Efficienty above garage

    We contracted Urban Design-Build to finish the space over our garage as a small efficiency with an open floor plan for a bedroom and living area, a small kitchen, a bathroom, and useful storage space. This was the most enjoyable experience we've ever had. Cameron's level of communication is atypical for the construction industry. We were updated weekly (and sometimes daily) with the work progress; any delays with materials or labor; and his persistent interactions with city permitting. When we called Cameron with questions, he responded quickly and professionally. His subcontractors were exceptionally neat, courteous, and professional...all of them! We are incredibly pleased with the quality of workmanship. Cameron wrapped up the project with several walk-throughs to ensure we were 100% happy. We are and we will use him again!

    Wow! We are absolutely thrilled with our finished basement that Cameron completed. He made the entire process a breeze for us. Not only is he an amazing person, his work is top notch and his team is absolutely wonderful. We are so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with such an honest contractor. We could trust Cameron from the moment we met him. He visited our house daily to keep tabs on our project and ensured everything was on track and being completed to his high standards. Cameron is such a wonderful and fair person to work with - he is much more than our contractor and became our friend- we’re going to miss seeing him.     Porch addition, carport enclosure, window installation

    Our experience working with Cameron was fantastic. Our project was adding a screened porch off the back of our home, installing new windows, and closing in a carport so that I’d have a workshop. We chose Cameron because of his professionalism from the first meeting we had with him. The quote he gave us was detailed and it was obvious that his experience in the industry was extensive.

    The crews he subcontracted to perform the construction were good and, more importantly, we saw Cameron everyday checking on them and their work. If there were any details we or Cameron were not satisfied with they were immediately fixed.

    We plan to work with Cameron again when it comes time for our kitchen remodel and back yard restoration. You won’t go wrong with hiring Urban Design - Building Co.

    Cameron and the rest of Urban Design-Build are a group of consummate professionals. From the moment we started discussing our contract to the day of final inspection, I was consistently impressed by Cameron's level of communication, transparency, professionalism, and attention to detail.

    My project was a basement build on a three-story house. The basement was entirely unfinished, and with Cameron's help, we built a completely finished, stand-alone living unit. This included new windows, plumbing, HVAC, electical, everything - Cameron's industry knowledge and experience made sure that I knew what to expect, and at no point were there any unpleasant surprises or unexpected costs. Even in situations where we had to made adjustments to the original plan, Cameron had already briefed me of the possibilities and alternatives to choose from.

    The build itself took place while I was out of town, traveling for work. Every day I got picture and video updates from Cameron, and got to see every step of the process coming together. Despite all of my last minute alterations and requests, Cameron still completed my project below budget and ahead of schedule. I cannot overstate how impressed with this work I am. The finished basement is simultaneously exactly what I wanted and also far surpasses my expectations - it's the nicest part of the whole house now!

    I would hire Cameron and Urban Design-Build 100 times over and over again for any and every project I can think of in my house. This entire experience was so much better than I had thought it could be, and I'm grateful for having had the opportunity to work with them!

    Cameron was a pleasure to with on our major kitchen, master bedroom, hall bath renovation. His transparency and detailed cost estimates were immensely helpful. I also greatly appreciated his having a very accurate timeline for each phase of the project -- which he completed ahead of schedule. He was very attentive to details and craftmanship throughout the project. It was very clear that Cameron was very invested in the quality of the overall renovation.     Cameron put his blood, sweat, and probably tears (tears from working with the city permits department) into our house. Our house was in a fire and had to be torn down to the studs. Throughout the entire process, he texted photos and provided updates and did not mind that we stopped by every single day. The house is better than before and is spectacular. I wish I could upload photos but everybody that comes to see it is awed! I would highly, highly recommend Cameron for any project!

    Very professional and definitely believe he would have been great to work with. Going by his work, pictures and quote it all looks like higher-end finishes which we are not wanting for this job.
