My wife and I engaged Urban Earth Landscaping to re-do our very old, very cracked concrete pool deck with beautiful pavers. Our experience with them was A+++ from beginning to end.
The owner, Steve, came to our home, took measurements, and spoke with us about what our vision was for the project. He then suggested that we meet at Buildology (the building materials place) to see larger samples of possible pavers. That proved to be a very good idea because what we had initially chosen then didn't appear as attractive to us and, with Steve's guidance, we are thrilled with our final selection.
Urban Earth then provided us with a written estimate which seemed very fair and appropriate. We then eagerly awaited the designated date for the work to begin. Steve, his project manager, and jobsite crew showed up on time and the work progressed steadily until it was perfectly done.
Carlos, the team leader for the actual work, was "in the zone" as he measured, cut (as needed), and placed each paver with incredible precision. All of the workers were incredibly respectful with us, our property, and our plants/gardens as they competently and diligently attended to each task from beginning to end -- including leaving the jobsite clean at the end of each day's work.
I highly recommend Urban Earth Landscaping, and, in fact, I'm now in the process of working with them on two additional landscaping projects and I'm confident that I'll be updating this review with further praise over the next month or two.

DONT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY! I have never had so many issues working with a company. They lack communication and commitment to the projects you pay them to do. From the start last year I’ve had issues over issues. I have paid full and yet 9 months later my backyard has yet to be complete. After multiple phone calls, 10+ text messages to the owner and messages to Shana who was handling our backyard I’ve gotten no responses back. They show up un announced with no communication to you, they plant the wrong plants then agreed and paid for, they improperly measured our concrete patio and had to take out half of it and re pour, they hit my wall with an mini excavator and made a mark. When I brought up the issue with the mark on my wall the owner said it’s not a big deal and not to worry about it. They put down the wrong rock and color down then agreed and had to re do it, they don’t communicate with their workers and we’re constantly asking us what and where things should be done, 9 months later I’m still waiting for all the rock and plants that I paid for to be put in.
When I say avoid this company I mean it, the price might be nice but the hassle, inconsistent, lack of communication, paid for and yet has completed isn’t worth your time or money. Shana and the owner Steve should be ashamed and embarrassed by their lack of professionalism.
