What an outstanding remodeling experience we had with Joel Usher Building and Design – the best we've had in our many years as homeowners! Imagine buying a house in a city where you don’t know a soul and trying to find a contractor who can complete two bathroom remodels in time for you to move from out of state? That was the situation we found ourselves in after buying our home in Sacramento. We googled random contractors, meeting them over Facetime or Zoom and found that everyone was booked solid for the time period we needed. Then BuildZoom referred us to Joel. I sent him my outline for the two baths and he said he was confident that he could get us at least one functioning bathroom by the time we moved in. As it turned out, Joel and his team completed both bathrooms within the one-month deadline, and everything went exactly as planned.
He communicated with me every step of the way, letting me know what to expect, what was being done that week, making suggestions about finishes when I was uncertain, and texting me photos of the progress. The result is absolutely stunning. From the tile work to the paint finish on the walls to the thoughtful placement of light fixtures and mirrors to the stunning custom glass shower enclosures, everything is beautifully done and functions seamlessly. We would hire Usher again in a hot second for any project. So many thanks to Joel and his team – and to BuildZoom for connecting us!
