My experience is much like encmjb's. My roof ended up taking 6 weeks longer than his proposed 1 week. I would be given a date and time that he would be out and he would never show. He wouldn't answer his phone. He would give me the funniest excuses, "his wife wouldn't let him out" not making that up, his workers were fooling around in the van and got hurt or the only beliveable one that he was out fixing roofs that he previously jacked up. The reason he never answered his phone was that his employees hid it from him in the van. I never saw him with any employees. He had a model sailboat and a roll of carpet in his van, the dude is supposed to be a roofer. I had to threaten him with calling the police to get back to finish the job. He is a terrible business man and an even worse roofer. Stay clear of this guy, the company's name should be fair warning. I do miss calling him daily to yell at him demanding my money back and his silly excuses in which he would desperatly avoid eye contact. To smooth everything out he gave me a three year warranty on my entire roof, not just what he repaired. I can't even imagine how much fun it would be to get him out here for free even if his business does outlive my roof.
P.s. I was just reading VA roof leaks other page and it appears he is writing his own reviews. I find it completely baffeling that I can have such a terrible time with Mr. Knorr while someone with the screen name "lknorr" would have just the opposite.
