    Vale did a complete Kitchen remodel, and bathroom restoration, for me in early 2022. Overall the work appeared good, but in the 3 years since evidence of sloppy work has surfaced. Despite repeated requests, they have refused to guarantee their work even a few years out.

    1. They did not install the kitchen garbage disposal right and so it leaked on my new cabinets. My plumber fixed it for me for free.

    2. Before the remodel, my floor had space in front of the dishwasher so it could be removed and replaced. However, they "walled" it in so now I need to find a contractor to cut the flooring if I ever want to replace my dishwasher.

    3. The paint job in the bathroom keeps bubbling. Another contractor suggested that this is because they did not prime it right. Vale did come once to repaint, but the problem has reappeared. Prior to Vale's work, I did not have this problem in the bathroom.

    4. Part of the bathroom restoration was repairing the ceiling below it; the seams are already showing.

    We did not receive a complete bid from this contractor, though we anticipated one based on emails from them. An initial bid included demolition costs, but it was not clear why the contractor did not follow through with a full bid. The lack of responsiveness is troubling.
