Selected company to install provided carpet and hardwood flooring, so in essence, it became two job orders. First carpet installers (Sub-Contractors) required interpreters to communicate with, they were unable to understand basic English. while they were installing the carpet the company rep was in my kitchen discussing submitting a bid to install the hardwood flooring. The carpet was installed in one bedroom and when they departed the premises, they never advised us to say they were done, Primary contractor had to bring in a different contractor to complete the primary scope of work. this sub-contractor was outstanding and very professional. While waiting for the second job order to commence I discussed with the company rep (Jerry) about my concern of having enough materials to install hardwood in the hallway linen closet. there was substantial carpet remaining to utilize just in case of shortage. hardwood floor installation was completed, Payment was requested by company rep. and a payment was remitted on the spot (Thursday), Jerry then said that they would return on Either Monday or Tuesday to install the carpet in the Linen closet, we shook hands prior to his departure from my residence and said that if I had any questions just to contact him. Well lessoned learned on my part, I should have known that a man's handshake is no longer their bond, never heard back nor has he answered my texts and I never had the remaining carpet installed. My bad for thinking that this individual was trustworthy. Beware of the smooth talker who delivers the bare minimum.
