Steer clear!! I should’ve known when their permits took seven months that this was going to be a battle, they had no administrative organization so much time wasted was due to no one following up and resubmitting updates. . One thing I’ve noticed about this business is that when they respond to any negative feedback they continuously make excuses and hide behind our contract claiming it’s not their responsibility so what I’m going to do is lay out a couple indisputable facts.
1.Our permit is still open from June 2022
2. Our patio/deck inspection failed.
3. We noticed issues with the decking within the first two weeks of install and they won’t acknowledge that the deck was installed incorrectly, they simple bandaid the problem.
4. No one has contacted me via phone in over a year despite many requests.
5. They do not use a reputable paver company to install their decking.
6. The company is refusing to take accountability for the decking and therefore has no plans to remedy in order to pass inspection to close out permit they pulled.
7. There is 2 open and active investigations with the Dept (DBPR)
Be conscious of any responses from the owner to this review, they should be able to refute by showing proof to any of the facts above. I have waited over a year to publicly complain and take legal action, always giving chances to remedy. Please consider going elsewhere for your pool building needs.
Lastly, my biggest advice is to verify the contractor that you hire has an active license (this can change at any time if they are under investigation). Also, if you have any valid complaints about a contractor, make sure you file your complaint appropriately through the state. My intentions are never to destroy somebody’s livelihood, where we are at now either my family faces financial hardship or this company faces justified consequences. I will hold on to hope that they make good on their responsibilities and I will ensure a proper update.
