This company sent a tech and after 15 minutes they wanted to charge me $84. Then they needed to order additional parts which they wanted to charge me an additional $84 for the return trip with parts. They are also double the price from other vendors for parts and $168 for two trips and 1/2 hour of work is unreasonable. I discussed the situation with Phil (owner) and he agreed 1 hour or $84 was fair for labor. The next day he called me and told me he was a commercial shop and I should look for another gate company to service my gate. Do not waste your time with Valley Gate. They are not what I would call a reputable firm.
