Permits
- Building permit records show that Vanhorne, John L. (mech) has worked on 91 permitted projects.
John VanHorne is the son of the owner of Arundel Cooling & Heating. They are a terrible company and a nightmare to deal with. They have been totally incompetent, unprofessional, malicious and underhanded, and customer satisfaction means nothing to them. One and a half years after signing a contract for a simple residential HVAC system replacement, the job is still not completed. Their incomplete work doesn't satisfy the local municipal code mechanical permit requirements, they have caused me approximately $5,000 in damages and lost revenues, and now we are going to court because they are looking for final payment in spite of the obvious fact that they have not fulfilled their contractual obligations and responsibilities. I have also had to submit an official complaint to The Maryland Home Improvement Commission who is following through on it.
