    Sadly the reviews are true and I hope people google Jim before you give him money. He clearly has a track record of being a liar and a thief.

    He quoted me $6000 for work and was given a $2500 deposit, came for a day and installed two electrical outlets and half a light in one whole day. That’s it.

    He then asked for another $1500. I refused stating nothing has been done yet and you already have nearly 50% of the entire job.

    He came back the next day, didn’t even finish the light, complained that I was not happy with his spackle work and then walked off the job and did not return my funds.

    I am filing a police report as we speak

    Sadly, I can only confirm what Lisa S. wrote. Jim is a conman, he will tell you anything he thinks you want to hear, take your money and run!!! He is not a professional contractor he's a professional thief. Apart from being a terrible contractor, Jim's crew also stole valuables from us, (rare coins and jewelry). We reported them to the police and they found video of one of his employees selling our things at a pawn shop. DO NOT HIRE HIM - it will be a terrible mistake.

    Jim stole $27,000 of my money. He took money for a job and didn't complete it. He is an absolute total crook.

    Jim recently repaired my garage roof that another roofer had botched.
    He and his assistant Carlos were meticulous as they worked and were very respectful of my property.
    He is licensed in NJ & PA. I absolutely recommend him and will use no one else in the future for any carpentry work that comes up at our place!
