Israel Candanedo what a thief!
It was raining alot in may/June so starting was delayed. And that's the nice thing a I can say.
I paid for wood straight threw lowes that he ordered, half was wrong. Actually started framing which was wrong, not what we talked about. Paid for framing/roofing portion before I realized he was going to leave it that way . No workers came back. Fired him at that point. Refunded 500 and not taking calls now. -
By Aisha H.July 13, 2021Patio Extension$8,000
Exchanged messages on FB with Jose Vaq for patio extension and asked him to come in person to give a formal quote. The person who came was Israel Candanedo who said he owns Cowboy Construction and that he doesn't work with Jose anymore but uses his Facebook for business purposes. Israel quoted $8000 including permits. We signed a contract and I gave him $2500 deposit check on 4/23/21 which was cashed immediately. He stopped taking my calls and texts and if/when he did, he would make excuses for not starting work. It’s been 10 days and it’s just more excuses. I'm looking to connect with other people how have been scammed by Israel or Jose. Text me 214 620 0146

Went by name of "Cowboy Construction" but has same address and phone number. Took 50% deposit for patio extension. Did not perform the work and promised to return deposit. Deposit never returned and stopped returning calls.

Can I give a lower than 1 star rating. He was hired by our contractor. He never showed up when he said he would, his crew did terrible work, he said he’d make it right. He actually asked us to pay his guys one day because he “forgot” his wallet. Only half way fixed what was done wrong and then quit returning calls and showing up. We had to redo most of the work that his crew did. BEWARE of this guy!!
